Career guidance and Placement
The organisation of outgoing guidance activities is planned in a coordinated manner with the Department, the Scuola Politecnica e delle Scienze di Base (SPSB) and the University. The presentation of professional opportunities and research outlets is also promoted through thematic seminars. Specific soft-skills training events (e.g. communication and interpersonal skills and competences, job preparation) are organised periodically.
The university has an active outgoing guidance and placement desk accessible through the portal http://www.orientamento.unina.it/, from which information on initiatives and job placement opportunities is drawn.
In recent years, the information tool for managing the supply-demand match between companies and students of each SPSB course has been the Jobservice platform (https//www.Jobservice.unina.it), developed on the specific needs of the stakeholders (employers and students/graduates). Students and graduates of the SPSB School can enter their CVs without structure constraints, apply for open positions and, thanks to the blog section, be informed about placement and training events supporting the development of employability and soft skills organised by actors within the School or offered by external operators.
Every year the Career Day is organised and communicated through information channels (website notices, social channels).
Delegate for the Department of Architecture is prof.ssa Daniela Palomba (daniela.palomba@unina.it)
